Jarrow Formulas® NAC Sustain® features N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC), an antioxidant amino acid and a precursor to glutathione. Glutathione is important for detoxification. The advanced b-layer Sustain™ tablets combine 1/3 Quick Release with 2/3 Sustained Release formats to release NAC over time.

Other ingredients

Carbomer, cellulose, calcium phosphate, beet root powder (for color), stearic acid (vegetable source), magnesium stearate (vegetable source), silicon dioxide and food-grade coating (cellulose, stearic acid [vegetable source]).

No wheat, gluten, soybeans, dairy, egg, fish/shellfish, or peanuts/tree nuts.

How to use

Take 1 tablet 1 to 2 times per day, preferably on an empty stomach with fruit juice or as directed by your qualified healthcare professional.

Warnings

NOTE: Prolonged or elevated intake may alter liver function tests without affecting actual liver function. Inform your physician that you are ingesting NAC if you undergo liver function tests.
